Yves-Michel Marti is a graduate engineer in Telecommunications from one of the French top "Grandes Ecoles" and has an MBA from Insead, a top-tier European business school. He has held technical, commercial, marketing and senior management positions with Dassault Electronique (France), Pacific Monolithics (USA), Hewlett Packard (USA) and Lucas Industries (Great Britain). In 1992 he was co-founder of the French branch of the SCIP association (Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionnals) which has four hundred members in France and eight thousand worldwide. In 1994 he founded Egideria, specialising in Business Intelligence services. He has taught at the University of California at Berkeley and lectured at the University of Stanford, HEC (French graduate business school) and the Institut des Hautes Etudes de la Défense Nationale (Institute of Higher Studies in National Defence), where he attended an advanced course in Business Intelligence in 1999. He lectures every year in advanced management training programmes at Insead. Mr Marti is fluent in five languages and is a frequent speaker at international events. |
